ABOUT ASHRAYA

Ashraya is an organization based in India which operates with the purpose of providing aid to Indian children in need and abused women through the implementation of various projects.

From the organization’s website:
“Ashraya”, meaning ‘Shelter’ has brought hope and love into the lives of several hundred children and women, over many years. Founded and registered in 1982, the Bangalore based organization is dedicated to finding solutions for children within the frame work of their own biological families, or in adoptive homes. Initially, the organization’s main function was to work with and rehabilitate destitute, poor and abandoned children. As is true in so many nations throughout our world, the quality of care for institutionalized children suffers due to lack of resources and financial support. When founded, Ashraya’s purpose was to improve the quality of care for these children.
The organization operates under the firm belief that such institutions are best only as temporary placement for children, and adoption has become a large piece of Ashraya’s mission. Through the important work done here, hundreds of children are placed with their forever families and are able to enjoy happiness and a bright future.

Education is highly valued by Ashraya, and that is why the organization also supports endeavors to provide schooling to children who would not otherwise be able to learn to read and write.
By helping children lead safe, happy lives and providing them with the important tools that a solid education can bring, Ashraya continues to improve the world, one young life at a time.

ABOUT OUR PROJECT

Our focus with this project will be to come to the aid of the many Indian children who need us today through the sponsorship of basic needs items as well as study programs. By participating in The ASHRAYA PROJECT, you too may help to provide food for a day or even a week, a pair of shoes, or clothing.
It is our hope that through our donations, we are able to help fund the education for as many children as possible. This, we believe, is a worthwhile cause.

Plans are currently underway for this exciting event which will open on May 5, 2012, with a KICKOFF CELEBRATION PARTY and two FASHION SHOWS featuring a live showcase of exclusive items which will be available at the FASHION FAIR running from May 6 until June 4.
Each vendor participating in the fair has agreed to offer at least one exclusive item, and the full proceeds for these exclusive items will be donated to Ashraya.

Throughout the month, we are planning various live performances for your enjoyment, and the event will close with the ART EXPO from May 28 until June 4, at which exclusive artistic creations from many talented artists on the grid will be featured and even available for purchase.
An ongoing raffle will also run during the event at which participants can win a variety of prizes ranging from personal styling sessions to photo shoots.

Our event will be held at two sims which have been graciously donated to us by BONAIRE ESTATES, and we are excited to be partnering with them for what promises to be an incredible project. The LM of the sims will be sent soon.

So many of the grid’s top designers have joined our team and will be participating as vendors in the fashion fair, and we are pleased to announce that we still have some spots available to add even more designers.

~*Mya and the Butterflies*~

This pictures have a little story. Because it was already my 5th outfit of the day I prepared and I was up since nearly 18 hours so I needed something to keep me awake to work this pictures.

So I checked my FL and found a dear friend of mine I found by accident who is a lovely clubowner leading this club with his wifey and he is fabolous in his work and perfect to keep u awake and in a fun mood.

I am very happy to showcase their club here on my Blog and they are always so nice and kind to me that they deserve it to be announced. So let me share with you all the wonderful club “The Butterfly Club”

And now we come to the amazing gown I made in this club to be what you see made and created by the fabolous AntoniaXP called “Mya”.

It is wild, it is elegant and soooo sexy at same time. The long wild animal gown shows the perfect balance of the elegant lower part with the black roses and lace and the fur around the shoulders of the model.

To fit the gown I choosed a jewelry set who is very deep in my heart made by the amazing Yula Finesmith which she specially made for me for the MVW Finals 2012 called “Falbala”.

This set is for me a real masterpiece and has so many details that it is hard to watch away from it if you wear it.

Specially with the long backpiece necklace it is something very elegant and fits with teh gown because of its bronce and golden metal with the lighty and clear diamonds all around of the jewelry.

I am so in love with everything, the club, the gown and the jewelry of course. Wear it and you will feel like a real diva of beautiness and elegance.

Now after some weeks after the MVW finals I came back to the time I get cast to be one of the finalists and I believe on same day I asked Giz to create a swimsuit for me. There I didn´t know we will get one similar in just different colors. So Giz started to create a fantastic swimsuit for me what you see below on the picture.

I wanted something very uncommon, very sexy and still not showing to much. And Giz did it exactly like I wanted. And I was near to tears as we got others then BUT I wanted to show you this one as I love it so so much.

GIZZA feat. Finesmith – MVW 2012 Miss UK Paulinha Lefevre Set

Gizza and Finesmith made again a fantastic job in creating this two sets out of a cuty short and very sexy dress and the official jewelry for our sweet Miss UK Paulinha Lefevre of the MVWs 2012.

I choosed this combination because of the way to show how sexy elegance can be without looking bitchy. The jewelry is in a set out of the earrings, the necklace and the bracelet on the right side and perfect to feel like a modern Audrey Hepburn out of Breakfast with Tiffany’s.

For me a perfect styling for a party, a show or just walking and exploring SL.

Tres Beau – Miss Xandrah – MVW 2012 Top12 Miss Turkey Xandrah Sciavo

And again I went to the falls of Carima to catch this wonderful beauty of a gown made by Kimmera Madison specially for the MVW2012 Mis Turkey Xandrah Sciavo who reached well deserved one of the Top12 positions at the finals.

To describe this gown I would say, it is like you walk on the clouds in sky with this so detailed trailskirt and even feel like the swan out of the famous russian ballett ready to show her dance with this fabolous fabrics of the gown hisself and the cute featherheadpiece who is shown at the right side of the head in angle.

But Kimmera didn´t create just the gown for Xandrah, she created the jewelry also who fit perfectly together with this play of elegance and innocence in this pure white with diamonds around the black eye in the middle of a onyx diamond as well.

For me I can say, this gown is one of my favorites of this evening and I am very happy to show it to you. Thank you Kimmera and Xandrah for creating this gown together in ideas and a huge talent in making fashion into art.

TWA is in a Dream feat. MVW Miss Australia Rissa Friller by Finesmith

I call it in secret the dream in Pink, as it is so beautiful and with a long long trail who can be changed with a script of course in his size. Also the halftransparent attachements on the hip and the shoulder gives this absolut elegance to the gown like a human fairy.

To fit this outfit and give it the special acsessoire in a grazil elegance I choosed the magnificent jewelry by Finesmith who was made for our 2nd Runner Up at the MVWs 2012 our beautiful Rissa Friller.

This set includes the collar what I let in his original colors Platinum metal with pink and green gems, the bracelet and earrings in the fitting colors and this cute little ring who shows again the little curls who go through the whole set.

It is a composition of feelings to wear this both designers.
